My own “making it rain phase…”

I’m an engineer and personal finance coach on a mission to help others achieve financial independence. At 35, I’m working towards my own goal of achieving Financial Independence by the age of 43. My journey began from a place many can relate with… I was an impulsive spender, often hoping things would sort themselves out while making choices such as leasing a second vehicle, which only deepened my financial troubles.

This realization was pivotal in my life. Although I was slightly investing through a 401K (with a company match), my journey didn’t start until I found my “WHY” behind why I mindlessly spent my paycheck, and why I needed to turn my life around. I needed a change and it had to happen that moment. I read dozens of personal finance, investing, self-help books and blogs, and even attended coaching seminars. I’m happy to report I’ve never felt more alignment in my life. Side effects included: growing financial and intellectual wealth.
